This is going to be a relatively short wrap-up because I barely got any reading done in December! If you want to know more about some personal things that affected my reading (and blogging, etc) in December, then follow this link to a separate post.
I won’t be including a personal section for December for that reason but I will still talk about all the movies I got around to watching. So let’s breeze through the shortest and final wrap-up for 2019.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

So in December, I decided to do a reread of the Harry Potters (I only ended up reading two). Originally, I’d wanted to read all seven books but then I narrowed my sights to just rereading the illustrated editions. I’ve been collecting these each year they came out but was yet to read them and appreciate them. And it was, as expected, wonderful.

Evidently, I made it to book two for this read-a-thon. Alas, I made it no further. In fact, I’m still reading The Prisoner of Azkaban because I got so wholeheartedly distracted I’ve read about five other books in the meantime. What can I say?
Morning Star

I finished a series! Despite only reading three books last month, we can all comfortably agree I picked good ones. I really enjoyed this conclusion to such an epic series and I’m definitely going to carry on with the next companion trilogy.
