And with that folks, we’re halfway through the year! Woo!! As expected, I didn’t really read for the first half of June because of final assessments for uni. But! I did do a good amount of reading in the second half of the month and managed to get through four great reads! Which I think is a solid effort for a half a month’s worth of reading.
May got the better of me, guys. I tried my best but OH MY GOD there were so many assessment to do for uni that I’m afraid I had to put reading on the back burner. That means I only read a measly three books last month which is depressing but alas, what can one do.
I have been so conflicted because I forgot to do my January wrap-up (honestly, I’m still laughing at myself for something missing that). But I decided (as you can see) to do a combined wrap-up! And before you freak out, it’s fine, this won’t be unbelievably long. February was a reading FLOP. Floppier than Peter Rabbit’s ears. Continue reading
Well, September was a lot more successful than August for reading. I managed to squeeze in five books last month and most were awesome! I’ve also been carving out more time for blogging which has been wonderful. As I mentioned in my previous wrap-up, I do have exciting news to tell you but alas, it will need to wait until at least next month.
I have been digging deep to find the motivation to get this wrap-up done. Sheesh. BUT HERE WE ARE. I read a grand (dismal) total of three books in August. WHHaaAAt. I know. I don’t even know what happened?! I wasn’t even any busier than usual.
I’m beginning to think that I will never get a wrap-up out on time ever again. WHY IS LIFE SO BUSY. My goal is that given that we’re so close to September now, I will start putting together my August wrap-up once this one is done! I shall try, I shall persevere, but good lord do I need an extra three days per week.
