I participated in the #ReadThemAllThon read-a-thon which was hosted by Aentee @ Read at Midnight. It lasted for three weeks and there were several challenges we had to attempt to complete. Unfortunately, I didn’t quite meet all of them – but oh well! It was super fun and I really enjoyed the added elements. Continue reading
Read Your Bookshelf A Thon is back for round 9! I’m so excited about this as this is one of my favourite read-a-thons that comes around. It’s such a wonderful, fun and interactive read-a-thon that I think everyone has got to try at least once! I particularly love how involved you can get on Twitter with the reading sprints.
If you don’t know what RYBSAT is, it’s a read-a-thon hosted by Miranda @ BooKss101 over on YouTube. Be sure to head over to her announcement video for this round to see what she’s reading, hear who the hosts are, and become acquainted with the rules. Continue reading
I’ve decided that it’s TIME to do another read-a-thon. Now, last time I attempted to do this during my uni semester it was a relative disaster becauase I have exactly no free time. But I’m determined that I can do it this time! I’m hoping to have a few more spare moments which means I will totally be able to read 8 books in three weeks (did you catch that sarcasm?). GUYS. RYBSAT round 8 is here!! I’m so excited I cannot even begin to explain. This has to be the highlight of my book read-a-thon adventures that I do. Don’t know what RYBSAT (read-your-bookshelf-a-thon) is? Ooh, boy – I am about to change your life.
Okay, so I’m a little late with doing this wrap-up, but I’ve been so busy pumping out some reviews and getting swept up in the excitement of uni assignments that I might’ve forgotten about it temporarily.
Slay That Series was a read-a-thon that happen last week – it ran from the 13th-20th of March and was awesome fun. The basic idea was that you finished off a series, or multiple series, or you could start and finish a new one. Which is great! Because I have endless series on my shelf that I haven’t finished reading yet due to not reading them for no particular reason. Continue reading
Who’s surprised that I’m doing another read-a-thon? No-one! I love these things!! I find them a great way to encourage myself to get through some books just that smidgen faster which means I have more time to read even more books! There’s just something awesome about reading along for the duration of a week (or so) with others and having a whale of a time on Twitter.
Slay That Series is a read-a-thon hosted by Sara @ sarawithoutanH and Chami @ ReadLikeWildFire. It’s running over 8 days because we all know we need that extra day and should hopefully be a lot of fun! The aim of the read-a-thon is to complete a series that we’ve been meaning to for a while, or to just generally polish some off. Which is a GREAT idea for me because I should own a trophy for the most series left not finished. I hardly ever read series all in one go and who knows why, but I’d like to. So I actually have one whole series sitting in the wings that I want to read and that is what I’m going to try and finish during this week of slaying. The dates are as follows:
13th March – 20th March
As you may or may not know, this past week I participated in the Underhyped Reads Read-a-Thon. The aim was to read books that were considered ‘underhyped’ – so less ratings on Goodreads, low ratings on Goodreads, or just books that you consider to be underhyped. Of which there are pleeeenty. I was perhaps a little ambitious with my goals but I read as much as I expected myself to seeing as I also went back to uni this week. Which means farewell free time!
