Hi everyone! I’m back! After a few weeks of hiatus I’m excited to finally be doing my monthly wrap-up for the final month of 2020. I’ll get into details about me and my hiatus in the What About Me section at the end. This wrap-up in itself is spectacularly late but alas, I do my best. But for now, let’s look at the awesome reading that I got up to last month!
I really enjoyed the books that I got around to reading in December. I set myself a challenge for my TBR to try and read the remaining 10 books I received at Christmas 2019. I often get lots of books for Christmas and one of my yearly goals was to finish Christmas and birthday books (so you can look forward to this type of reading challenge again in May for my birthday this year). Ten books was super ambitious but I had high hopes. Initially, I thought I’d be having a quiet month for work (anticipating maybe three days of work each week) but I ended up working full time and rapidly lost reading time. But nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed all 8 books (yep, I know, amazing) that I managed to get to!

December was a funny ol’ month. I had a BIG exam at the very beginning of the month and am still waiting on results to come out to know how I went. And then it was an epic Christmas rush which was both fun and stressful. I watched an inordinate amount of Christmas movies (stuck to my self-made movie schedule, go me) and did some very festive baking.
I then got banned from sitting at my computer which, if you follow my posts, you’ll know about. And that caused a massive backlog for blogging and other things (the sheer number of book reviews that have not been done is stressful). But I shall plod on and catch up.
I won’t talk too much about the future as my January wrap-up will hopefully follow hot on the heels of this wrap-up but I am going to be very busy this year and am revising schedules accordingly. Nothing over on my Instagram will change, but my YouTube will likely go down to one video (instead of two) per week and I’m still a little undecided how to manage blogging. Currently thinking I will simplify it to reviews and wrap-ups/hauls whilst I’m pushed for time. But we will see how that goes!
Movies I watched in December:
You read so many good books in December! Outlander is one of my all-time favourite series and I am eagerly awaiting the next book but am worried that it is never going to be released! I also recently read Eragon and am hoping to finish the next three books by the end of the year but there is just so little time and so many books! Oh, the Scythe series as well… that was absolutely wonderful and I was so sad when I finished with those books!
