Hello everyone!! Here I am again with another list (I told you I like them) and this time it’s Waiting on Wednesday hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine (and again, I’m writing this a day late, it may or may not be Thursday – but, pffft). Each week you get to pick one book that you are knocking at the knees with anticipation of it’s release for. It’s a bit like hyping yourself up for the future so that when the time comes you’re 100% excited and 0% guilty about buying it.

So, without further ado – this Wednesday I am waiting for . . . .*dramatic drum roll*:

Assassin’s Heart by Sarah Ahiers

“In the kingdom of Lovero, nine rival Families of assassins lawfully kill people for a price. As a highly skilled member of one of these powerful clans, seventeen-year-old Lea Saldana has always trusted in the strength of her Family. Until she awakens to find them murdered and her home in flames .
The Da Vias, the Saldanas’ biggest enemy, must be responsible—and Lea should have seen it coming. But her secret relationship with the Da Vias’ son, Val, has clouded her otherwise killer instinct—and given the Da Vias more reason than ever to take her Family down . . .” {continued}

[Goodreads summary]

Release Date: 2nd February 2016
Publisher: Harper Teen
Pages: 432 pages {hardback}
Pre-order it on the Book Depository

Why? Because, 1) the cover, and 2) assassins. Enough said.

What are you waiting on?
