Welcome one, welcome all to my August wrap-up! This is actually a little more than just my August wrap-up as I’ve changed the way I’m doing my book hauls at the moment. So you’re getting more of an August/September book haul thrown in! I hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe – and reading lots of great books!
Books mentioned: Eldest, After Story, Last Shot, Threadneedle, The Codebreakers, The Midnight Library, The Lies of Locke Lamora, The City of Zirdai
Books mentioned: there are 33 books in this haul, please don’t make me type them all out.
So if you haven’t watched the video, the reason I’m doing less frequent book hauls is because of my #300TBR challenge which I’m tracking over on Instagram. This is essentially a book-buying ban, so I’ll simply be hauling books when I have enough to show you!
I’m heading into the final month of uni now, which is very exciting. Just a handful of weeks to go until I hand in my thesis and am FREE. Well, as free as one is when working full time. That means it’s all busy, busy, busy my end with writing up research results, working and trying to read as much as I can.
I’m well on track for my Goodreads reading challenge, I’m sitting at 62/65 books as I write this and I’m nearly 15 books ahead of schedule (which was really quite unexpected). That means I’m heading for about 80 books this year, which will be my second highest reading year! In 2016 I read 85 … so I’m not going to lie, I’m very tempted to try and beat that, but we shall see.
I hope everyone is keeping safe! What books have you read recently that you enjoyed?!
