This week feels like it’s flying by. I hope you’re all having a fabulous week! I feel like I’ve done next to no read at all because I’ve been so busy. Ah well, what can you do? On with the show!
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine. It’s a tremendously fun thing to be because you have an excuse to gallivant through the 2016 releases (and probably buy far too many books). It’s also fantastic fun to head over to the official page and check out the link up to what everyone else is waiting on!
This week I’m waiting on . . .

The Robots Are Rising
Sixteen-year-old Frost understands why she’s spent her entire life in an abandoned apartment building. The ruined streets below are hunting grounds for rogue robots and Eaters.
She understands why she’s never met a human besides her father. She even understands why he forbids her to look for medicine for her dying pet. But the thing is, it’s not her real father giving the orders . . .
It’s his memories.
Before he died, Frost’s father uploaded his consciousness into their robot servant. But the technology malfunctioned, and now her father fades in and out. So when Frost learns that there might be medicine on the other side of the ravaged city, she embarks on a dangerous journey to save the only living creature she loves.
With only a robot as a companion, Frost must face terrors of all sorts, from outrunning the vicious Eaters . . . to talking to the first boy she’s ever set eyes on. But can a girl who’s only seen the world through books and dusty windows survive on her own? Or will her first journey from home be her last?

// PRE-ORDER //
I absolutely love the sound of this one! Pretty much as soon as you say robots, I’m in! I hope this is as good as it sounds what with it being a dystopian with dtysfunctioning technology (ultimate dystopian right there). Plus I’m somewhat completely in love with the cover which is always a bonus. BRING IT ON.

Frost sounds so interesting! I’m loving the premise – now I just hope it lives up to expectations, because if not it’s going to be sooo disappointing. 🙂
