Huzzahhh! It’s Tuesday again (what ho! how soon!), and you know what that means . . . LISTS. Yayyy! *insert sound of children yaying in the background*.
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish and every week is a different theme/challenge so that everyone gets their weekly dose of list-making. Hooray!
This week’s list of list-y-ness is:
Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree This Year
Indeed! Considering it’s the 22nd of December this week I feel it a bit unfair to throw this list out into the ether now (seeing as people have already bought my bookish presents). So I like to view this as more the top ten books I’m super hyped to buy/receive for Christmas!
In reality, giving me any sort of book as a present will be sure to have me functioning at 110% excitement levels (I’m very excitable, you see). Now, this list is in no particular order – I’m equally anxious about getting my hands on all of these!
Number One
Cinder by Marrissa Meyer
{#1 in the Luna Chronicles}
Cyborg Cinderella? Yes, please.
Number Two
The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness
The story of NOT the hero? *mind implosion*
Number Three
The Martian by Andy Weir
a) The plot
b) Matt Damon
Number Four
Die for Me by Amy Plum
{#1 in the Revenants series}
I don’t remember what this is about anymore, I just love the cover.
Number Five
Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes
{#1 in the Falling Kingdoms series}
Fantasy: tick.
Cover/10
Number Six
Rook by Sharon Cameron
Alternate Paris? I’m so there.
Number Seven
The Diviners by Libba Bray
{#1 in the Diviners series}
Libba Bray – enough said.
Number Eight
Legacy of Kings by Eleanor Herman
History buff: satisfied.
Number Nine
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
Everything about this just sounds fabulous. Especially the cover.
Number Ten
All I Know Now by Carrie Hope Fletcher
Carrie Hope Fletcher is one of the best human beings on this planet. Amen.
Well that’s all for this week! Who’s excited for next week? *raises hand* What’s on your list?? Let me know below & link if you’re a blogger, too!
Want to chat more books with me? Find me over at Twitter or Tumblr – I love to chat!
Arrivederci tutti and happy reading!
