Nicki Edwards is a nurse, mother of four and the author of the popular Escape To The Country series and The Peppercorn Project . A city girl with a country heart, Nicki grew up on a small acreage and spent her formative years riding horses and pretending the neighbour’s farm was her own.

In addition to writing, Nicki works as a Critical Care Nurse in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit, where many of her stories and characters are imagined.
