I am officially read-a-thonned out. Whew. I just can’t help myself when I see someone announce that one is coming up because they’re so much fun. Seriously, if you haven’t heard of the Read-Your-Bookshelf-a-Thon before, well, you’re missing out.
RYBSAT is hosted by Miranda @ BooKss101 and it is my favourite read-a-thon of the year. The way it works, is that you pick a point on your book shelf and read that book, and each consecutive book following it on your shelf – and try and read AS MANY as you can within the week. *does ninja moves*
Head over and check out my original TBR if you didn’t know what I was reading!
Unfortunately, I was extraordinarily busy drowning in study and completely failed this read-a-thon, *sigh*. I read one and half books and you’re going to be very disappointed because the one I actually finished also counted towards the #ReadThemAllThon too. I know, I know, I’ll try harder next time.
The Snow Globe
by Jenna Nelson
As I said, I really enjoyed this book and I desperately want the sequel. I may or may not have been stalking the author and it does seem that there is a sequel coming. So excuse me whilst I park myself here and wait.
The Darkest Minds
by Alexandra Bracken
Mate, don’t even get me started on how much I loved this book. This has gone onto my all time favourite list for 2016 and I have every intention of buying every thing else this woman has written and not leaving my room until I read it all. MY HEART, IT DOTH WEEP.

Books I Didn’t Get To
There were two other books I was supposed to get to and those were The Dalai Lama’s Cat and Code Name Verity. Both I really should have read by now so I think I’m going to try really hard to squeeze them in in September – but GOOD LORD there are so many good books coming out this month I don’t know if I’ll have time.
Da-Naa!
I thoroughly enjoyed this read-a-thon as always. It’s so much fun on Twitter doing all the sprints and I can’t wait to participate in the next round!! Did you participate? How did you go?!
The Darkest Minds is one of my FAVE books/series ever. Glad you liked it too 🙂

I’ve never participated in a readathon… Being reaponsible to little humans tends to put a damper on marathon reading lol I would have totally done this pre-children though! I will be looking forward to your review for The Darkest Minds
