For me, Sangu Mandanna has become synonymous with peak cosy fantasy. I loved this every bit as much as I loved The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches. Both are sweet, engaging stories that actually pack quite the unexpected punch when it comes to their character development.
This surely is peak cosy read. I devoured this within a few reading sessions and loved every minute of it. Completely innocent (well, almost) and definitely funny, this is a fun witchy read to add to your TBR.
Well, Sarah Beth Durst certainly nailed the brief when she said she wanted to write a book that felt like drinking a hot chocolate. This book has to be the definition of cosy fantasy, and I loved every second of it.
