I’m beginning to think that I will never get a wrap-up out on time ever again. WHY IS LIFE SO BUSY. My goal is that given that we’re so close to September now, I will start putting together my August wrap-up once this one is done! I shall try, I shall persevere, but good lord do I need an extra three days per week.
I might have bought quite a few books this month. Ooops. To be fair, I’ve been doing so well all year. The majority of my hauls have been ARCs and audiobooks – but this month, I LET LOOSE.
Oh boy is it good to be writing a wrap up again! WELL HELLO FRIENDS. It has been so nice to come back from America and dive straight back into the book world. I got back about one week into the month and hurriedly tried to read every book ever in the WORLD. Which is my way of saying, I read five books.

I’m a big fan of the series but the reason for this month being particularly Doctor Who-y is because the people I stayed with in England had a massive crate of Doctor Who books. I think you can all imagine what my reaction was to seeing them. Continue reading
Well hello, dear stranger, are you ready to FRET and HOPE at unprecedented levels about the thing we all love so terribly much? *high five* Excellent. Because that’s precisely what I’m here to help you with.
I fee like I should perhaps hold up a moment to note that if you haven’t read the HP series firstly: what are you doing?! And secondly, this post will probably spoil you.
Thanks to the ever wonderful Aentee @ Read at Midnight there is a ridiculously fun blog FESTIVAL going on in celebration of Harry Potter – because there is never a reason not to celebrated good ol’ HP (although, to be fair, it is his birthday at the end of the month). Anyhoo, today I’m going to be discussing my hopes and fears about spin-offs for Harry Potter. What spin offs? Well let me explain. Continue reading
