Wishlist Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted @ Pen to Paper where we get to feature a book that’s been on our wishlist for a long time that we want to buy/read! I have a hugely extensive list that I keep updated over on The Book Depository so I’m never short of books that I’m wishing on.
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine. It’s a tremendously fun thing to be because you have an excuse to gallivant through the 2016 releases (and probably buy far too many books). It’s also fantastic fun to head over to the official page and check out the link up to what everyone else is waiting on!

Guys, I absolutely have to tell you absolutely something very exciting. I am now the proud owner of SQUIRTLE socks! Yes! That’s right, I totally went and bought Squirtle design socks because I saw that someone else had them on Instagram and obviously they’re a required item of clothing. Welcome back to Past to Paper! I’m super excited to share this month’s topic with you. Women at the Homefront during both World Wars in all countries is a topic that I love to study and read about. I find it fascinating how the world kept turning during such horrible times. It really goes to show how versatile and strong us humans are.
But first of all – I hope you’re all doing well and having splendid day. If you haven’t gone outside to wave at the sun and jumped on your bed at least twice yet, then I suggest you pause right now to do that. Very important stuff. So, I hope you all enjoy this month’s topic – get out your pencils and paper, kids, it’s time to learn some things! Continue reading
Hello fellow book hoarders! This month I tried a new subscription company and was super pleased with what I found. The Dragon’s Hoard (you can probably guess what drew me in there (it’s the word “dragon” if you didn’t guess)) is a relatively new subscription company based in Perth, Australia – my home city! I was thoroughly delighted with the contents of August’s box and am already raring to go to see what will be in September’s.
