It's that time of the month! August has some really exciting titles coming out - and happily, I'm travelling to Edinburgh this month and will catch some of the Edinburgh Book Festival (I'll try to remember to take some pictures to share!) This was as wonderful as it was bizarre. It reads like a collection of short stories, capturing a variety of people's reactions to the moon suddenly turning into 'cheese'. I loved how creative this concept was, and how well Scalzi has managed to pull off the entire thing.

The second book in the Lifelike series - this was okay for me, but a bit of a struggle to get through at times.
