【 EARTH’S END 】
book #3 in the Air Awakens series
Genre: Fantasy (high)
Audience: Young Adult
Author: Elise Kova
Published: February 2016
Publisher: Silver Wing Press
Pages: 350 (paperback)
Another great instalment to this series – things have only become bigger and more serious (and more exciting!) I think this is also my favourite of the books so far. I really have nothing to complain about for this one.
The audiobook experience (as I’m reading this series as a bundle in one big audiobook) has been quite alright. Despite rocky beginnings (in book 1), it feels like the performance has improved, and by this book, number 3, I’m all there for it.
I’m really loving the character development as we go along; Vala sure is a different gal to who we started out with.
There’s just the right continued amount of tension and complication for all relationships, romantic or not, and I’m certainly having no luck (in the best way) predicting how things are going to turn out.
Similarly to book 2, this book also has a killer finish that takes out a nice, brutal chunk of your heart.
So many levels of keen for book 4 because I am SO ready for an epic glow up of badassery on Vala’s behalf, as well as desperate to know how things will move on from where it all leaves off.
