Thank you Allen & Unwin for a copy of this in exchange for an honest review

Brightly coloured pictures and an adorable hedgehog wanting a hug, how can you not fall in love with this?

A perfectly wonderful story
Released during times when we can’t always travel to see the ones we love, this is a sweet story of Hedgehog who wants to find his friend Tortoise because he misses his hugs.

The illustrations are bright and cheerful, filled with all our favourite woodland creatures (my favourite is the jammy badger). We follow Hedgehog on his hide-and-seek-like search to find his friend, whose hugs are irreplaceable.

If you’ve got a little one in your life (or let’s be honest, just love the cover as much as I do and want this to read to yourself), this is a great story about the reward of being patient especially in covid times.
