Wishlist Wednesday [#9]

Boy oh boy am I having a busy week studying. Thank goodness for books – I think I’d’ve gone insane by now otherwise. OH – and I’m reading Fangirl at the moment. GUYS. It’s addictive. It’s amazing. I think I’m dying on the inside from feels. Send help.

Wishlist Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted @ Pen to Paper where we get to feature a book that’s been on our wishlist for a long time that we want to buy/read! I have a hugely extensive list that I keep updated over on The Book Depository so I’m never short of books that I’m wishing on.

Where do I make my lists? First and foremost I use my “sound good” shelf on Goodreads where I basically keep track of all the books I’ve encountered that tickle my fancy. BUT, The Book Depository has my most concise list of all the books that I so dearly want to throw my money at and look at one my shelf.

 This week I’m wishing on . . .

Game of Thrones meets the Grimm’s fairy tales in this twisted, fast-paced romantic fantasy-adventure about Sleeping Beauty’s daughter, a warrior princess who must fight to reclaim her throne.

Though she looks like a mere mortal, Princess Aurora is a fairy blessed with enhanced strength, bravery, and mercy yet cursed to destroy the free will of any male who kisses her. Disguised as a boy, she enlists the help of the handsome but also cursed Prince Niklaas to fight legions of evil and free her brother from the ogre queen who stole Aurora’s throne ten years ago.

Will Aurora triumph over evil and reach her brother before it’s too late? Can Aurora and Niklaas break the curses that will otherwise forever keep them from finding their one true love?

*WOOP WOOP* Fairytale retelling alert!!

I’ve heard so many amazing things about this book so I’m really keen to read it. I think it sounds super intriguing and I’m hoping it’s a really entertaining read. I can’t wait to dive into the story and find out what it’s all about. This is sort of one of those books that it feels like everyone is talking about but I don’t *actually* hear all that much about. I’m hoping that I get around to buying and reading this one soon! Plus, I mean Game of Thrones meets Grimm’s Fairytales? HECK YES. Finger’s crossed that I do enjoy it!!
