Another great addition to this series! I just love how cute and cosy this crime series is. Once again, we are following our main cast of characters, and Murder Most British takes us to the heart of wartime London thick with smog and chock-block full of action.
The sweet and simple nature of this series is what makes it so enjoyable to read. After finishing book one, I was ready to tuck into some more cosy crime adventures with the same characters, but the unexpected added bonus is the character development that occurs along the way. This is a series that is absolutely worth reading in chronological order because of this reason.
This was what it said on the tin: a cute, fun, Golden Age cosy crime. Set in 1941 in London and surrounds, this follows two main characters who are unhappily lumped together to puzzle out a case. This was the perfect curl-up-on-the-couch-with-a-cuppa sort of book.
