This was absolutely magnificent and has to be one of my favourite reads of the year so far. I wasn't 100% sure what to expect going into this because I thought I'd heard some good and some meh things, but I can confirm that this is all the good things.
I wanted to love this more than I did, but I just felt that this was ultimately a bit 'meh'. It's a very fun (and funny) concept, bringing together some classic fantasy tropes with cowboy vibes, and the queerness is delightfully through the roof.
An amazing YA contemporary romance that is sweet and brilliant.
