My main takeaway from going through all the July releases is that July is cosy crime month! There were so many fun and quirky mysteries abound (and plenty more that didn't make my list).

This series has continued to impress and delight me, and things take a very serious turn in book 4. While there has always been good continuation between the books, particularly the character development, The Last Devil to Die really took this up a notch and manage to pull severely on our heartstrings in doing so.
This was what it said on the tin: a cute, fun, Golden Age cosy crime. Set in 1941 in London and surrounds, this follows two main characters who are unhappily lumped together to puzzle out a case. This was the perfect curl-up-on-the-couch-with-a-cuppa sort of book.
Naturally, this was every bit as enjoyable as its predecessors. I've started really looking forward to the interview at the end of the audiobook between Richard Osman and a special guest. It's a very fun way to reflect on the book right as you've finished it (though I must admit, having just said that, this was my least favourite interview - the interviewer covered a lot of the same ground as from book one's interview #awks and the audio quality was lowkey terrible? But I shall forgive).
November is knocking at our doors, and so is an army of new releases that all sound positively delectable. So get yourself a cup of tea and get ready to build up a fantasy shopping cart (or go wild, and actually check out once you have all the books you want, I dare you). Here are some of the awesome books on my radar for November!
A fabulous follow up to The Thursday Murder Club! I once again listened to the audio version narrated by Lesley Manville, and I can't recommend it enough. The narration is fantastic and the plot is just as good as the first time around.
So the hype was 100% true and this is probably the best thing you're going to read for a long, long time. To say I'm obsessed would definitely be an understatement.
Alex Hay's Downton Abbey-esque crime mystery – set in the cosy early-1900s London.
