Are you a sci-fi reader? 🪐 I love me some sci-fi, from dystopian dinosaurs to space odysseys, I am so there. And I SQUEALED with excitement over the December @illumicrate box. I *loved* Aliette de Bodard short novella, Fireheart Tiger, which was just so good.

Speaking of 2023 challenges – I'm one book away from finishing the 11-book Ranger's Apprentice series!!! !!! !

I got a LOT of books for Christmas, literally too many to photograph in one photo. So I'll introduce you to them slowly.

Review time! A hearty 4 and 5⭐️ rating for How to Cheat a Dragon's Curse and How to Twist and Dragon's Tale, respectively. These are books 4 and 5 in the HTTYD series and oh my god they're just hilarious.

Stop, look and listen: it's a signed edition of Just Sayin' 😍

I've been talking about reading challenges for 2023, and finishing series is my main one.

Review time! 5⭐️ to this feminist retelling of my favourite Greek myth.

Isn't this cover just so cool? I have been eyeing this book off since it came out because as soon as there is pretty masonry on a cover, I'm hooked. Apparently I've got a thing for that.

Q. Do you run away from long books or do you relish them? This innocent looking historical fiction is HUGE it's nearly 600 pages and thick 👁️👄👁️ but I'm so excited to read it.

Dad sure ain't pulling his punches when it comes to picking a challenge book for me. I present to you, The Way of Kings (part one), which is Dad's pick for my Friend Recommendations challenge for 2023.

Q. Are you Disney obsessed? When I was 21 I had the wonderful (but also tiring) experience of working at Disney World. So yep, I love Disney.

Q. What's your favourite childhood read? I mentioned in a recent post that I didn't read as a child - but I got my hands on a box set of Enid Blyton's Famous Five and I'm ready to catch up on what I missed out on 🤩😍
