Well hello! I am writing to you from Cork, Ireland – how exciting! Well, not all 100% exciting if you read my previous post and know why I’m here. I’ve just settled in at my granddad’s place after approximately 2927161 hours of travelling to get here. Seriously, whew. What a lot of travelling. Which means I’ve got time to do some blogging and fill you in on how February went!
I am keen as a bee to get reading this month. I have some excellent books lined up and – fitting with my new yearly goals – a read-a-thon to participate in! I’ve decided to do a thing. If you’ve been paying attention (I might quiz you at the end of the year so best take notes) I’ve signed a contract with myself to participate in one read-a-thon per month in 2018. A tall order? Most certainly – oh okay, no probably not, but shush and let me be dramatic. Except I couldn’t find any read-a-thons I fancied. After much reflection I have whipped up some excellent goals for the New Year. This is probably the first time I’ve really sat down to think about what I want to achieve with my reading life within the time frame of a year. YEARLY GOALS ARE ABOUND.
