Time for the second half of Wednesday! I so wish I could buy some of these books but let me tell you now, I’m not winning the battle with my TBR. Not to mention that there are so many amazing books coming out in September that there’s just about no room to actually read anything else!

Waiting on Wednesday [#40]

I feel like I’ve hit an achievement guys: it’s study break for uni next week which means I’m well on my way towards finishing the semester. I’m definitely ready to put away the scholarly brains for a bit, I can tell you that. ANYWAY. I hope you’re all having a lovely week so far – I am! I’ve ticked more assessments off, I’ve had the inaugural read-along for The Dragon’s Hoard box, and I’ve read some great books. I’m also one book away from finishing my Goodreads challenge (WHICH IS AMAZING).

How to Define Fantasy

Whilst writing reviews I often ask myself how on earth Β I define fantasy. Why do I ask myself this? Mostly because I enjoy making my life difficult, but also because Fantasy has those delightful little sub-genres called “Epic” and “High”. And if you’re really picky there are a million other sub-genres, but these ones bother me the most. Today, I’m going to introduceΒ to you the official Kirstie’s Manual to Categorising Your Books Correctly.
