Top Ten Tuesday: Across the Pond

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone’s week is off to a splendid start. It seems summer has finally arrived in England so I’ve been enjoying a few days of wearing actual summer clothes – and believe it or not, I’ve even caught myself whining about the heat!

In some exciting news, I’m going to be meeting Carrie Hope Fletcher this evening at her book signing in London and I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am for that. If you don’t know who Carrie is then DO head over to her YouTube channel, It’s Way Past My Bedtime, because she’s such an amazing and inspirational person.

Waiting on Wednesday [#30]

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill over @ Breaking the Spine and each week we get to pick an up-and-coming release that we’re excited about. I always look forwards to this because it gives me an excuse to scroll through the never ending lists on Goodreads of books that are coming out. AND IT IS FUN MY FRIENDS. Lists are the 3rd most satisfying thing in life (after sniffing books and free chocolate).

Top Ten Tuesday: Under 2,000?

Hello everyone! It’s Tuesday again and that is indeed marvellous. Now, I missed TTT last week and I prefer that prompt to this week’s (facts about me – but if you’re curious about some of my preferences, check out my answers for the Desert Island book tag or the This or That book tag). In case you were wondering (and of course you were) my holiday is going swimmingly. So far I’ve exhausted myself traipsing around London (and I’m going back to see some West End performances AND to meet Carrie Hope Fletcher at a signing), I’ve seen a bunch of things in various villages and I’ve also hopped across to Ireland. Feel free to be supremely jealous.
