Hello everyone! It’s Wednesday so that means it’s that wonderful day of the week where we get to go adventuring through Goodreads to find some shiny goodies.
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine. Each week we feature one book that is coming out (relatively) soon and talk about it!
This week I’m waiting on . . .
Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas
Throne of Glass book 5
Genre: Fantasy, Young Adult
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Publisher: Bloomsbury USA Childrens
Pages: 704 {hardback{
RELEASE DATE: 6th September 2016
So obviously I’m excited for this one. I basically died earlier this week with the cover reveal for this thing of beauty because I’M SO READY. I love, love, love the cover and I so can’t wait until its release. I don’t think I need to say much as to why this is fantastic because my bet is that you’ve either read the series or heard about it. I love how much crazier the books are getting and how Maas is doing this tremendous world building. I’m also fortunately not shipping the ship that many people were (and were upset about in the last book) so I’m a happy camper. I’m really curious to see what direction the series takes off in now, *steeples fingers*.
I also can’t believe that it’s going to be SEVEN HUNDRED AND FOUR PAGES. 704 pages, guys. Are you breathing? I’M NOT. I will literally be dropping everything – eating, breathing, sleeping, sneezing – EVERYTHING – when this comes out and non-stop reading it. And the cover. Ohhh the cover. Look at that work of art. *contented sigh*

I can’t believe you haven’t read them! Don’t hate it when you don’t jump on the bandwagon to start with and then the series just seems overwhelming? Gah.

Haha I know 😂 I only started reading again after a year and a half so I was so out of the loop with a ton of books. It’s definitely a challenge trying to catch up on all the hyped series. 😅
